It is true that strong bias, insults and honest rants will bring you traffic, like some experts say. I have recently stumbled upon a completely honest and aggressive blog, that receives a lot of traffic. The author of the blog, who calls herself V, writes about her life, opinions and such. And she does it in a completely open and straightforward way, being really inflammatory, insulting and disgusting at times. So it’s no wonder that she decided to stay completely anonymous.
Now comes the interesting part: you can’t leave comments on her blog. V has locked them completely. And she says that she doesn’t give a fuck about her readers’ opinions. Guess what? Someone launched a website where you can comment on her posts! Can you imagine that? What better proof of the power of quality bias do you need than seeing a separate blog being launched only to comment on your own blog?
I am amazed at how this blogger managed to garner attention. And I also wonder what kind of loser you have to be to buy a domain and launch a website just to comment on someone who is anonymous? Whatever. Dear reader, just remember: If you are strongly biased and if you have something boiling inside yourself, write about it. Your blog will attract a lot of readers.

Okay, you’ve made my day. No, I’ve never read her blog (yet - although now I’d like to give it a view I spoze)
I’ve got a huge smile on my face because these are the antics that just turned me right off some of the forums I used to frequent in another life before I realized I have my own live I can live and that life can be a bitch but it can be sweet and wonderful on some days too.
Thanks for being here - truly and thank you for your wide open honesty. You’re my kind of people. Your article was much appreciated today.
Peace.

Thank you for your nice comment. I would like to know what is it exactly that turned you off some forums?

What turned me off some forums (most I’ve ever been involved in actually) was the high school mentality - “FIGHT, FIGHT!” Then everyone has to gather round to get their look, put in their two cents with some other snarky comments and nothing ever got done.
It’s the same as when there is an accident - people come out of the woodwork to get their “fix” of excitement for the day.
I just don’t feel the need to put in my two cents anymore, I don’t feel the need to be right, to watch the fight - I’m just looking for a little peace these days. I’m much happier with a good book or walk outside to keep me busy and give me things to think about.
I hope you’re having a peaceful day today as well.
